Praveen Singh Sengar is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Prayas India Charity Foundation and the Founder of the Wheelchair Pickle Ball Federation. With a strong commitment to social service, inclusion, and sports development, he has worked towards creating meaningful opportunities for persons with disabilities through sports and community initiatives.
His vision behind establishing the Wheelchair Pickle Ball Federation is to develop wheelchair pickleball as an organized and accessible sport, providing athletes with a structured platform at the state, national, and international levels.
Under his leadership, the Federation focuses on developing a strong sporting framework that includes athlete participation, state-level organizations, championships, trials, training opportunities, and the promotion of wheelchair pickleball across India.
Praveen believes that disability should never become a barrier to ambition, achievement, or participation in sports. His approach is centered on inclusion, dignity, equal opportunity, discipline, and empowerment.
As CEO & Founder, his responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic leadership and long-term vision for the Federation.
- Promoting wheelchair pickleball across India.
- Supporting the establishment and development of state-level associations.
- Creating opportunities for wheelchair athletes to participate in organized competitions.
- Developing partnerships and collaborations for the growth of the sport.
- Encouraging young athletes and emerging players to pursue competitive sports.
- Strengthening the organizational and administrative structure of the Federation.
- Promoting a fair, disciplined, and athlete-focused sporting environment.
- Representing the Federation in discussions concerning the development of wheelchair sports.
His broader vision is to see Indian wheelchair athletes receive greater recognition, opportunities, and platforms to demonstrate their talent and compete at the highest possible level.
